Help with exporting from County Durham

Thinking about exporting

Knowing where to start with exporting

It can be hard to know where to start if you’re new to exporting and even if you are a regular exporter, there’s always more you can learn.
We know that businesses who export are far more likely to survive and grow than those who don’t! Thousands of businesses like you have increased their sales, productivity and stability by selling overseas.

Here at Business Durham, we want to help you to consider exporting your product or service, as part of your long-term plan for growth. Our operations team can work with you to identify the right source of support from organisations such as the Department for Business and Trade and the North East Chamber of Commerce.
DBT’s International Trade Advisors draw on a wealth of knowledge. They can tailor the support you require, whether you are new to export or a seasoned exporter. You will have a dedicated adviser who can help you to identify markets, understand customers, and raise finance to help you to export and work with you on your export plan.
At the same time, NECC is a provider of operational support to international businesses in North East England. Its core offer is the provision of services, namely help with export documentation, skills development and letters of credit (transaction management) designed to take the headache out of additional operational elements involved in an international transaction.

If you are thinking about exporting or keen to do business with international buyers, give us a call on 03000 261255.
