A County Durham museum is set to benefit from the installation of solar panels after plans to install 113 on Locomotion in Shildon were approved.
The council confirmed on January 16 that prior approval was not needed for the project.
Solar panels will be installed on the roof of the museum building, offering a 59.89 kWp generation system.
