A Consett-based pharmacy has been sold in a deal brokered by Christie & Co.
Moorside Pharmacy is a 30-hour community pharmacy that dispenses an average of 3,200 NHS items per month.
It shares a building with a small GP surgery in Moorside, to the west of Consett.
Rachel Hurst has owned the pharmacy since 1995, and put it up for sale to downsize her operation and concentrate on her busier pharmacies, including one in Consett and two in Crook.
