New low-carbon vehicles launched in County Durham expected to cut emissions


A new lower-carbon bulk waste management service has been launched in County Durham.

Hargreaves Logistics, in partnership with Durham County Council, has introduced a fleet of Iveco Bio-CNG vehicles.

A new lower-carbon bulk waste management service has been launched in County Durham.

Hargreaves Logistics, in partnership with Durham County Council, has introduced a fleet of Iveco Bio-CNG vehicles.

These vehicles are powered by Bio-CNG (Compressed Natural Gas).

The new vehicles will reduce carbon emissions by around 80 percent and Nitrogen Oxide (Nox) emissions by 90 percent, compared to diesel alternatives.
