The care home, run by Exemplar Health Care, has 32 large bedrooms and six single occupancy apartments, all with en-suites, and provides "expert, nurse-led care" to adults with complex needs.
Laurel Place on Gudmunsen Avenue, Bishop Auckland, began construction in May 2023 and is now welcoming residents.
