IBEX Innovations Secures £2 Million to Advance Osteoporosis Detection Technology

NETPark-based IBEX Innovations has successfully completed a £2 million funding round to further its mission of transforming standard X-rays into diagnostic tools for osteoporosis. This investment will support the deployment of IBEX BH in clinical settings throughout 2025, aiming to identify osteoporosis before fractures occur.
Osteoporosis often remains undiagnosed until a fracture happens. Dr. Sarah Jarvis, MBE, Chief Clinical Advisor at IBEX, highlights the importance of proactive diagnosis over reactive treatment. With recent collaborations with X-ray and mammography imaging original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) in 2024, IBEX is poised to enhance early detection and treatment of osteoporosis, potentially reducing healthcare costs and improving patient outcomes.
