AIM-listed electronics manufacturer Filtronic has named its new chief executive, following Richard Gibbs unveiling his decision to step down from the role.
Gibbs will relinquish his role of board member and chief executive with effect from 13 May 2024, but will continue to be available to support the growth ambitions of the business until November 2024.
Nathaniel (Nat) Edington will take over as chief executive and, in the meantime, will work closely with Gibbs to ensure an orderly handover.
Edington has held a number of senior executive positions in the high technology and semiconductor industry, and was latterly chief executive at Dukosi Ltd, where he led the business from early stage to global technology leader.
