Earlier this year, Filtronic was proud to announce its prestigious recognition with the King’s Award for Enterprise, celebrating the company’s outstanding commercial success driven by innovation.
This honour highlights Filtronic’s commitment to pushing the boundaries of technology and underscores its leadership in the industry.
Only around 60 of these awards recognising innovation were awarded this year.
Filtronic’s recent achievements centre on the design and manufacture of its market leading power amplifiers, which has led to growth within the new space sector including high altitude pseudo satellites (HAPS) and low Earth orbit (LEO) satellites.
To celebrate winning the King’a Award, Filtronic welcomed His Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of County Durham, Mrs Sue Snowdon, and her team into their manufacturing facility in Sedgefield on Friday 04/10/24.
