Food enthusiasts are in for a treat with the announcement that Durham Restaurant Week is due to make its much-anticipated return. Running from January 31 to February 7, and organised by Durham Business Improvement District (BID), this culinary event showcases the city's diverse dining out scene, offering exclusive deals across participating venues.

A feast for food lovers

Durham BID's initiatives, such as Restaurant Week, aim to bolster the local economy by increasing footfall and promoting the city's vibrant dining scene. Paul Howard, Durham BID manager, highlighted the city's evolution into a dining destination. 

Mr Howard, said: "Durham offers everything from fine dining tasting menus to casual concepts and international cuisines.
