County Durham logistics firm invests £700,000 and joins nationwide network

A Durham logistics firm has  invested £700,000 in new vehicles, including trailers, tractor units, rigid trucks, and vans, to support an ambitious growth plan.

Family-run Logistics North East, which is based in Chester-Le-Street, has also become the latest member of Pallet-Track, the experts in palletised distribution whose hub has handled over 43 million pallets.

Logistics North East will cover the NE31 to NE36 and SR1 to SR6 postcodes on behalf of the pallet network and currently handles approximately 1,000 pallets per day.
