A North East charity has received a £300,000 grant towards transforming a County Durham farm into a visitor attraction and creating vital jobs for autistic people.

A North East charity has received a £300,000 grant towards transforming a County Durham farm into a visitor attraction and creating vital jobs for autistic people.

The North East Autism Society hopes to create more than 60 jobs at New Warlands Farm in Burnhope, County Durham, by running at as a sustainable working farm and visitor attraction. The charity aims to create shops, a café and a cider-making plant.
