A County Durham butcher has been named one of the best in the UK after it was awarded three gold-standard awards.
Coates Butchers clinched the three gold awards in a prestigious craft butchery awards ceremony.
The Coxhoe based butcher picked up awards for its low carb, chia seed and almond pork sausage in the 'Innovative Sausage' category, dry aged flat iron steak in the 'Best Butchers Steak' category and traditional corned beef pie in the best hot eating pie category.
