A COMMUNITY foundation is to celebrate its 30th anniversary by awarding £30,000 at a spectacular medieval-themed awards ceremony.
Grant-giving charity Point North has distributed over £70m to good causes since it was founded as the County Durham Community Foundation in 1995. It rebranded last year as part of a modernisation strategy.
The organisation’s long-standing tradition of community support will continue on Thursday 20 March when it again stages the annual High Sheriff Awards to announce the recipients of grants totalling £30,000.
