Location

July's Innovation Breakfast will look at How the Defence and Security Accelerator (DASA) work with industry and academia to find and fund innovation.

The Defence and Security Accelerator’s mission is for the UK to have the most innovative defence and security capabilities in the world. They achieve this by finding and funding innovative ideas from academia and industry, including SMEs and primes, and seeking to rapidly bring them into use across defence and security.

Anna Taylor, the DASA Regional Innovation Partner (IP) for the North East will be giving a briefing about DASA followed by the opportunity to book a 15 minute one-to-one meeting afterwards at NETPark.

During the briefing, the Innovation Partner will cover how industry and academia can benefit from working with DASA and what a good proposal looks like. Further

information about DASA, including our live innovation competitions, can be found on the DASA Website.

The monthly Innovation Breakfast Talk (formerly NETPark Net breakfast) networking sessions are informal, informative, networking opportunities designed to help Science, Engineering and Technology companies network with each other. These are sometimes held at NETPark, and other times on the location of hosting companies.
