WriteSound Limited

WriteSound Limited was formed in March 2014 when, after more than a decade each working for commercial radio stations, Gareth Eve and Rachael Gladstone-Heighton decided to strike out on their own and launch their own business. Initially they worked from their own homes, but as the business grew it became possible to set up an office. In January 2016 they moved into Tanfield Lea Business Centre.

“The nature of our business demands collaboration on projects, which is much easier when you work in the same office. Working from home can also feel quite isolating and when you have young children that can be a challenge too. Moving into the office has been a fantastic move for our business. The location is ideal for us, the facilities are spot on and the business centre staff are incredibly helpful.” – Rachael Gladstone-Heighton

WriteSound Limited specialise in writing and producing radio commercials but also produce audio for a diverse range of uses including corporate, online, TV voice-tracking and more. They work in partnership with Smooth Radio North East and Capital Radio Scotland as their sole supplier of radio commercials, with Celador Radio, and independently with a number of advertising agencies and direct clients across the UK.

Gareth and Rachael are also professional voiceover artists and have recently made a significant investment in a cutting edge, soundproof booth. Further plans for future investment are also in the pipeline.
