CPI invite you to find out about a new programme to support SMEs looking to apply photonics and emerging technologies for healthcare markets. This event is an opportunity for companies to hear about access to funding and assistance available for the commercialisation of their healthcare driven products incorporating photonics.
The Centre for Process Innovation (CPI) and Durham University have launched a joint programme to deliver the Spotlight project, which will provide fully funded support via the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) to SMEs operating in photonics and emerging technologies in the County Durham area.
Through the project, companies with growth ambitions in photonics that need support with early stage proof of concept research and scale-up of technologies, will get access to experienced senior staff at Durham University and CPI, with strong track records in research, innovation and the commercialisation of photonics and emerging technologies. In addition, the project will offer consultation services in areas such as market assessment, health economics, regulatory and legislative matters, and specialised photonics technologies, as well offering access to the exceptional facilities at CPI and Durham University.
The event will introduce the programme, allowing companies to gain a deeper understanding of how this support could benefit their business and how to apply for support.
