Now located in the North East, Micropore Technologies is a solutions provider for specialist particles and emulsion manufacturing, working with a wide portfolio of exciting and demanding clients across the globe that commercialise products and technology based on its novel emulsification processes.
Established over ten years ago as a high-technology spin-out of Loughborough University in the UK, the team at Micropore has developed an innovative lab-based technology with potential, to a practical, fully scalable, industrial product. They continue to innovate by investing in research and development to ensure that they are top of their field.

Dai’s career has been spent in performance chemicals and related businesses. He’s passionate about delivering business value by finding innovative solutions to industry problems through the application of chemistry. He joined Micropore in 2010 to take the business to its next growth stage. Dai is serial entrepreneur as he also has created other start-ups in his career.
A team from CPI will also be available to share the information about their Engineered Surfaces and Materials project that supports SMEs to improve their products or services.
